Most cardiac emergencies happen at home, at work, or in public places — often with loved ones nearby. Would you know what to do?

This month’s safety reminders:

  • 🫀 Learn the difference between sudden cardiac arrest vs. a heart attack — they are not the same

  • 🚑 Call 911 immediately if someone collapses or becomes unresponsive

  • ⚡ Don’t hesitate to use an AED — it will guide you step-by-step (Download the app: PulsePoint AED to find the nearest one to you)

  • ⏱️ Start CPR right away; early CPR and AED use can double or triple survival rates

  • 🧠 Take a moment to locate the nearest AED at work, school, workplace, or your gym

Knowing what to do — and acting quickly — saves lives.

CPR and AED training gives you the confidence to act when every second matters — our Community CPR, AED & First Aid class in Chardon is coming up soon.

📅 Date: February 26th, 2026
Time: 6:00 - 8:00 PM
📍 Location: Chardon, Ohio

If your CPR certification has expired — or you’ve never taken a class before — this is a great opportunity to get trained locally and confidently.

Sarah’s knowledge, confidence, and passion for safety and caring for others, made the 2-hour, hands-on skills class enjoyable and super informative! Sarah answered all the questions and encouraged us as we practiced compressions, breaths, use of AED, wound care, and Narcan and EpiPen administration.
